NOLA2c-art app for iPhone and iPad

NOLA2c-art is a free mobile app guide to contemporary art in New Orleans, providing the latest information about venues and events. “THIS WEEK” features a daily list of art related events, such as lectures, movies, and gallery openings. “ONGOING” is a list of current exhibitions found in the city. The button “NEAR ME” links to a list of venues throughout the city alongside links providing direct access to their websites. Photographs of works of art found in New Orleans are available through a link to NOLA c-art’s Instagram. A future project will add short videos to introduce New Orleans artists and their work. The app is easy to navigate with a homepage featuring six clearly labelled buttons. NOLA2c-art is the revamped, free “light” version of NOLA c-art, which due to technical issues is not currently being updated.
